The popular Greenway Jizera cycle path runs right by the campsite, connecting a number of attractive places and allowing comfortable trips for families and experienced cyclists alike.
Here are a few tips for cycling trips directly from our campsite:
Dolánky – Hrubý Rohozec Castle – Dolánky
An easy ride, ideal for families with children. From Kemp Dolánky, head towards Turnov either on the former main road (about 2.5 km one way) or spice up your journey with the red educational trail leading around the former castle ponds. You will climb to the castle entrance via a romantic stone staircase. The castle courtyard offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and the Jizera River. The total loop length is approximately 5 km.
Dolánky – Železný Brod – Dolánky
Set off on the popular Greenway Jizera cycle path through Rakousy, Malá Skála, and Líšný to Železný Brod. The route runs through the picturesque valley of the Jizera River and, thanks to its easy profile, is suitable for families with children. Visit the glass museum and beautiful technical monuments. Total approximately 32 km.
Dolánky – Malá Skála – Pantheon – Dolánky
A popular trip along the Jizera River to Malá Skála. Here, we recommend climbing to the rock castle Pantheon, from where there is a magnificent view of the surroundings. Difficulty: medium, length approximately 20 km.
Dolánky – Hruboskalsko – Valdštejn – Dolánky
Explore the unique Hruboskalsko rock town and visit the ruins of Valdštejn Castle. The route leads through beautiful nature and offers rock viewpoints. Difficulty: medium, length approximately 30 km.
Dolánky – Kopanina – Frýdštejn – Drábovna – Dolánky
The route takes you through the Kopanina lookout tower, offering a beautiful view of Bohemian Paradise, then to the romantic ruins of Frýdštejn Castle and the Drábovna rock labyrinth. Enjoy peaceful roads, views, and history along the way. Difficulty: medium, length approximately 27 km.
Dolánky – Sychrov – Dolánky
A pleasant trip on cycle paths to the fairytale Sychrov Castle, where you can relax in the castle park. Difficulty: medium, length approximately 35 km.
Dolánky – Klokočské Rocks – Rotštejn – Dolánky
An attractive route for more experienced cyclists to the Klokočské Rocks area with a visit to the rock castle Rotštejn. You will encounter beautiful natural scenery and technically interesting sections. Difficulty: medium to higher, length approximately 28 km.
All routes lead through the picturesque landscape of Bohemian Paradise and are suitable for families and experienced cyclists. The starting and ending point is always Kemp Dolánky.
